Students can access the InfoLit Modules through many different authentication pathways.
IP Authentication: Direct links to the individual videos and tutorials can be embedded on public facing sites like LibGuides or your library website. These are secured by IP authentication.
Proxy Authentication: Off campus users will be prompted to authenticate via their proxy login. Credo will add your proxy string to the URLs and embed codes during the onboarding process, but you will need to update your proxy configuration. You do need to have an SSL Certificate on file.
Referring URL Authentication: May be used in secure areas such as your learning management system or in other locations behind your institution’s firewall. For any questions regarding referring URL access, please contact modules support.
LTI: If you embed an item via LTI into your Learning Management System (e.g. Blackboard or Moodle) your students will auotmatically be authenticated via that link or external tool. Credo support can help you set up any LTI authenticaton required.
